Mrs. Rand organized a staff vs students curling event on Monday. The teachers were pretty excited to get to play on the fabulous curling ice that the students have been enjoying this winter. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to play just before last recess. It was nice to have students out to cheer for all the teams. There was a staff team consisting of Mr. Hargreaves, Mrs. Daraska, Ms Knoll and Mrs. Henry who played against the Grade 4 girls team and Mrs. Dent Scarcello, Ms Dodds, Ms Wasney and myself who played against the Grade 5 boys team. Thanks to Mr Hargreaves for getting the ice in such excellent condition and to Mrs. Rand for teaching students and staff great curling skills and sportsmanship.
