The 20
th annual MTS Young Humanitarian Awards will be held tonight Wednesday, May 24th (7:45 p.m.) at the Fairmont Winnipeg. There will be 13 public school students from seven school divisions in
Winnipeg, Gimli, Bird’s Hill and Moosehorn. Did you know that the Dog House Canteen girls will be recognized at this event? Ms. Wasney and the girls will be honoured during the evening as we celebrate the kind and compassionate hearts of the recipients this year. You can read about the 2017 award winners

The girls and Ms. Wasney run the canteen on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every other month. Their dedication to raising money for excellent causes is admired. Ms. Wasney makes sure the canteen is well stocked with great treats for us to enjoy. Thanks to the BHS community for your support.
To Ms. Wasney and the Dog House Canteen girls: WOW!!! You are all amazing. What an evening to remember. It is people like you who make the world a better place.
