We have been talking a lot about Remembrance Day as we prepared for our assembly today. Our poppies were made for our classroom wreath which is now being displayed in the front showcase. We are glad many of you visited Artsonia to see the poppy prints we made. Ms. Wasney collected some artwork from different classes and put the beautiful work on the bulletin board by the gym. Some of our poppies are displayed by the gym and some are outside our classroom.
The assembly was hosted by the grade 2s and 3s in Ms. Jeffery's and Mrs. Gale's classes. It was so nice to see friends and family join us in the gym. During this asssembly, students showed great respect for the presenters and each other.
Peace has been a topic of many of our conversations. We are aiming to be peaceful throughout many parts of our day. Here are our thoughts:

Although the snow seems to be here a bit too early this year, the gently falling flakes sure are peaceful.
