Counting to 100! Readable Shirt Day!

We used our 100 collections to do some counting. Students even enjoyed eating their edible collections that some brought in. It was Readable shirt day today as part of our I Love to Read month. Curling Fun

Mrs. Rand organized a staff vs students curling event on Monday. The teachers were pretty excited to get to play on the fabulous curling ice that the students have been enjoying this winter. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to play just before last recess. It was nice to have students out to cheer for all the teams. There was a staff team consisting of Mr. Hargreaves, Mrs. Daraska, Ms Knoll and Mrs. Henry who played against the Grade 4 girls team and Mrs. Dent Scarcello, Ms Dodds, Ms Wasney and myself who played against the Grade 5 boys team. Thanks to Mr Hargreaves for getting the ice in such excellent condition and to Mrs. Rand for teaching students and staff great curling skills and sportsmanship. It was fun to spend time outside getting some exercise. We appreciated the support and cheering! Thanks Ms Wasney for sharing your photos!
